Final Project: Early Summer in DC

For my final project I wanted to focus on the transition from spring to summer in DC. This winter felt as if it lasted longer than usual. For a while, Washingtonians stayed inside as a way to cope with the cold weather. After months of waiting, spring/summer have arrived. These images show life on campus and in the neighborhood of American University Park. On the day these images were taken, student sat outside to study for finals and hang out with friends. For the first time in forever, campus is starting to feel somewhat normal again.
